Where can you get short cranks for a mountain bike?

Im looking for 150 mm cranks for a kids mountain bike and wondering if I can just use BMX cranks with an older, unsplined bottom bracket. I'm setting it up as a 1x9. Any advice would be appreciated.

It not easy to answer without seeing the problem. I would suggest you go to your local dump as there are usually old kids bikes there and you may find something that suits. Hope that helps.

I am 5'5 and 180lbs and I want to buy a motorbike that is street legal but good on dirt roads and trails. I've seen bikes that start at about 250cc, and that seems like its too big for me. I am pretty sure those bikes would be too tall as well. Whats a good dirt bike for a short person? I don't plan on going over 50mph on the highway, and even slower on trails. Are there kits where I can convert a dirt bike to a street legal bike?

The XRs were good, CRF230s are kinda short, TW200 is very short and a fun little bike, KE100 was fun, but on the odd side.

Or you could get a KLR650, DRZ400, XR650 LOL I'm kidding! jeez, it's only 11:30pm, but I'm still tired!
