What would be a good bicycle for a 22 year old female?

I am short, like 5 foot. I want to use it for low to moderate exercise. Something Comfortable and durable. Maybe dark gray or dark blue. I live in St. Louis, so maybe from Dicks Sporting Goods or Walmart? I have not had a bicycle since I was a kid and am excited to own one again! Any suggestions are appreciated!

My gf kid is 6 yrs old so some kid friendly projects would be cool too.

buy him a new bicycle from walmart . Then take it apart before you give it to him. Wheels off , chain off , handle bars off , seat off , the tires off of the rims , every thing off. !

Then you can teach him how to put it all back together. This will teach something he use in the future to repair and adjust his own bikes for himself . Like when he gets a flat tire on his bike.
But you have to let him reassemble it himself , with only your supervision.

Plus , he gets a new bike for Christmas ;) early X mas present .

He opens the box " what is this ?" .... " your new bike , all you have to do is put it together ! "
Dont forget to take the tires off the rims , he needs to learn that too.
