i bought a bike for my 7 yo daughter and waived the 15 dollar assembly fee, how much work do i have in store for myself?
Answer
It's not too hard, takes about 15 minutes. You will need an adjustable wrench and a screw driver. You have to put on the back wheel with screws, the seat, handle bars and pedals.

Can I get a good workout on a cruiser bicycle?

I've always wanted one and decided that I would start cycling. Every thing I read says to choose a hybrid or mountain bike instead for fitness. But I don't see why a cruiser wouldn't give me the same workout? I wouldn't be on terrain or hills. I'd be on a sidewalk and I honestly feel it would be more comfortable considering my junk in the trunk lol.

Absolutely, positively, without a doubt --- NOPE! What part of the word "cruiser" spells work-out or fitness? Beach cruisers are designed to C-R-U-I-S-E at slow speeds. On the other hand - "fitness bikes" and road bikes are designed to go fast. Which one will result in a better work-out & more fun? Not too hard to figure out.
