I live in california about 2 blocks from a good riding area. My dad is convinced that if i ride my dirtbike the 2 blocks a cop will see me and take away the bike. So to ride i have to push it to the dirt. I don't think a cop can take the bike if im just riding it to the dirt but im not sure.

Answer
The cop has the ability to have the bike impounded. You are operating a motor-powered vehicle that does not meet the requirements to be street legal, nor is it licensed.

I have hauled many dirt bikes because some kid was riding down the street and an officer caught them.

Do you think the high gas price will make station wagon popular again?

when i was a kid, there is no SUVs, these monsters only grow popular in the last decade or so. i feel really disgusted when i see so many SUV single driver on the road.
I hope for people need extra cargo space will rediscover the station wagon, even just to save a few MPG is doing good for the environment.

Answer
People aren't willing to be seen in a station wagon for a 15% improvement in MPG. Motorcycle sales are going through the roof and also people are buying small fuel efficient cars and hybrids.

I myself still just bought a semi-gas-guzzling minivan and also a motorcycle. I try to ride the bike whenever I can to get that wonderful 65 MPG but I drive the family van or SUV if I legitimately need to. Often I do haul a lot of stuff and/or people, filling my vehicles to capacity. I think the key is don't drive more vehicle than you really need. My friend has five kids, the dude needs a seven seater. But a station wagon, no.
