hi.i go to a high school and as a courswork assignment i need to help people.i dont have a clue of what to do?

it is meant to be like i am soppsed to pick a charity or something and then help them.i would like to do that but i cant think of a way to raise the money which is different of what people usually do in school and which people would actualli want to pay money for such as selling something
also i was thinking maybe go to a orpahanage or somethuing and spendn evenings there for a month but a not sure
if anyone has any kind of ideas please just leave a comment

i really want to do somthing to do with children who live in a childrens house because i just recently lost my mum and i jus want to help them childrean as it wouold make me feel better but i have to come up with a idea of raising money for them kids to giv to them
i am going to be raisng money in school for a month so please if you have a idea let me know

How about a clothing and toy drive for the kids. Set up some bins in your class, put up posters asking for gently used clothing and unbroken toys. Colouring books and crayons are still fairly inexpensive. People might have bikes they don't use anymore, baseball gloves and balls etc.
It sounds like a wonderful project, good luck, I know you will bring joy to the kids. Sorry to hear about your Mom, you can sure she is very proud of you in your effort to help others.
