Have you ever had a latex allergy reaction to a hand basket in a grocery store?

I had one at shaws from the rubbery handle. I couldn't believe it because it did not look like the kind of thing that would contain latex. But apparently it did. It was grey and looked more like plastic but after picking it up it was obviously rubbery because of how soft it was. Am I the only one with a latex allergy this has happened to? Why not list unsuspecting places where you got a reaction.

Mine are:
1. Wheelchair handles while helping a crippled man
2. Grocery basket handles
3. A rubbery grey mouse scroll wheel.

I have been dealing with a nasty latex allergy for over 10 years
Still can't find a list of everything,that's because it is ambiguis
My rule of thumb has been if it :
sticks
absorbs
stretches
bounces
spongy to the touch
it is widely used in many new produces
Some newsprint has latex ink or latex powder to keep pages from sticking
even latex free bandages have latex powder in the packaging to prevent the band aid from sticking to the wrapper
some brands of disposable diapers have it to adsorb the moisture
tampons & pads can contain it too,for moisture absorption
mascara ,mostly the black
the print on plastic shopping bags
rubber grips on pens ,tools,flashlights & other "easy gripe" items
electrical wires
envelopes ..self sticking & regular ones you lick shut
blood pressure cuffs
bra straps,underwear waist & leg bands,nylons
sneaker soles,shoes with cushion inside,boots
ziplock bags
buttons on remotes
buttons of phones
the nose tabs on eye wear
some air valves on blow up water toys
grips on cooking utensils
rug & carpet backings
baby toys...chew toys
non slip tub grips
bike tires are loaded with rubber (I can't go near the toy isle that has kids bikes)
fishing lures
buttons on laptop keyboards
all latex paints,though people will argue about that,marine paint has the highest amount,the colors they add are mostly pure latex,darker the color the more latex (Sherman Williams customer service rep told me about all paints) if they smell like banana it is the latex.Latex/rubber comes from the same botanical family of trees
pencil erasers
surgical & exam masks have latex powder to absorb the moisture from your breath

the list goes on...
I have only found a list of medical devices since they have tried to switch to polypropylene in the medical field.IV tips can be latex,some switched over to poly,but they found the poly ones did damage to veins since it wasn't as flexible as the latex ones.
