The motorcycle was a classic 1975 Honda. The rider had surgery to remove a testicle. He will be out of work for at least 3weeks and has a disabled wife and 4 children. A teenager turned left in front of him.

Answer
The settlement of the Honda depends on the condition of the bike. Many people call things "classic" just because they are old. But if the bike is old, not well maintained and not restored - it's not going to be worth a whole lot. The bike owner can look the value up in the NADA guide. A local motorcycle shop will have one. But you have to take a realistic consideration of the condition of the bike. There is a very big difference between an old motorcycle and a fully and correctly restored motorcycle of the same age.

As far as the injury claim goes - since the guy is married, the wife will have to sign the settlement documents. The 4 kids don't factor into the equation. They don't add value to the claim.

There is no where near enough information for any one here to put a value on the claim.

The first question is what are the liability limits on the car that hit him. Regardless of the injury or the amount of the medical bills, the most he can get is the per person bi liability limit.

Then he would have to file an under-insured motorist coverage claim against his motorcycle carrier. However, there is a good chance he may not have UIM coverage. UIM is very expensive to carry on a motorcycle so many don't carry it.

How to teach your child to ride a bike?

My daughter is 2 and she loves bikes. I got her one with training wheels because she seems bored on a tricylcle. How do I teach her how to ride it? She starts to pedal then goes backwards with her feet which causes the breaks to go on, so she isn't getting anywhere. I have guided her feet over and over with my hands showing her how to move them, but then she gets lazy and assumes I am going to push her the whole way. Any advice?
I guess I should add for a couple people that I'm not pushing her. She got bored on the tricycle, and while we were at Wal-mart she saw a bike with training wheels. She hopped right on and wanted it so bad. I'm not asking so that I can force her to do it. I'm asking so that I relieve her frustration by helping her learn because she wants to do it so bad.

Answer
it would be alot easier if u got her a bike with a brake handle thing cuz its hard enough for kids to understand that if they pedal forward they go forward but when u tell them to pedal the other way to stop thats confusing
