I'm kinda really bored this Summer and am wondering what are some inexpensive "fun" things to do at home this Summer.
For an answer just leave a long list of things to do. For example...
1. asflkj
2.adsf
3.aldkjfs
Don't put things like watch tv.
I want things to do like maybey cool websites to go to or cool crafts to do or nice books to read.
I'm 13 and a girl.

Answer
1. Crafts:

Decoupage Collage Box

What you'll need:
Papierâmâché box with lid
Old magazines
Scissors
White craft glue
Water
Bowl
Paintbrush

How to make it:
Go through old magazines and cut out pictures, words and phrases of things that you like.
Mix 2 parts white glue and 1 part water, mix together. (Recommended amount: 2 tsp glue and 1 tsp water. You can always make more if you run short, rather than having too much and having to throw it away.) Mixture should be paintable but not too thick.
Paint mixture onto one side of the box.
Place pictures on glue and paint glue mixture over the top of the picture.
Cover all sides and lid with pictures, phrases and words.
As glue begins to dry pictures may bubble a little. Gently flatten with your fingers as it dries.

Tips:
Travel magazines are perfect for making a vacation box. Look for advertisements with small pictures and fun phrases.
Try dirt bike and motorcycle magazines for the adventurous child.
Be sure to clean paintbrush out when you are finished or the glue will harden and ruin it.

Bath Salts

What you'll need:
Large glass or metal mixing bowl
2 cups Epsom's salts
1 cup Sea salt, rock salt or coarse salt
Food coloring
1/4 teaspoon Glycerin
Essential oil for fragrance such as vanilla, citrus or peppermint, optional
Clean, dry jars with cork stoppers or metal screw-on lid
How to make it:
Try and do this on a day with low humidity, the salt will absorb moisture from the air.
Combine salts in bowl and mix well. Add a couple drops of food coloring and mix well.
Add glycerin and essential oil (4 or 5 drops) and mix well.
Spoon salts into the jars and close them.
Make a gift tag with the scent (if you used one) and suggesting using 1/3 to 1/2 cup in the bath.
Makes 3 cups of bath salts.

CD Clock

What you'll need:
Old music CD or CD-rom
"Painters" paint markers
Clockworks
Metal washer (hardware stores carry these individually)
How to make it:
Paint the CD with paint markers in any design you want. Let dry.
Write the numbers around the edge of the CD. Make sure you space them evenly. (Parents should help with this step.)
Assemble the clock works onto the CD. You'll likely need a bigger washer than what is included in most clock works, which will need to be placed on the top of the CD to keep the clock together.
Give as a present or keep for yourself

Wallpaper Envelopes and Stationary

What you'll need:
Outdated wallpaper sample books
Small mailing envelope
Cereal box cardboard
Pencil
Scissors
Glue
How to make it:
Go to your local wallpaper store and ask for outdated wallpaper sample books - they are free.
Take a small mailing envelope and carefully pull the glued edges apart so you have a pattern.
Trace the envelope on a piece of cardboard (cereal boxes work good) so that you have a durable pattern.
Place your cardboard pattern on the wallpaper and trace.
Cut out, fold and glue.
Tips:
Use leftover wallpaper scraps that don't have writing on the back to cut out rectangles that can be folded and made into stationery.

Painted Jars

What you'll need:
Computer and printer
Clipart
Empty jar
Acrylic paint
Tape
Paintbrush
How to make it:
Using a computer, print out bitmaps of any graphic that you like.
Put the graphic inside the jar as a pattern to go by.
Paint on the jar, following the lines of the apple pattern.
That's it! Anyone can do this whether or not they have any artistic ability.

2. Learn how to cook:

Soft Pretzels

2 - 16 oz. loaves frozen bread dough
1 egg white, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon water
Coarse salt

Separate thawed bread into 24 - 1 1/2" balls. Roll each ball into a rope 14 1/2" long. Have children plan and design pretzel shapes (letters or numerals). Put pretzels one inch apart on greased cookie sheet. Let stand for 20 minutes and brush with combined egg white and water. Sprinkle with coarse salt. Place a shallow pan containing 1" of boiling water on bottom rack of oven; bake pretzels at 350 degrees on rack above water for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Rice Krispie Treats

6 cups Kelloggs Rice Krispies
1 bag of white marshmallows
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
No-stick cooking spray

Melt the margarine in a no-stick pan and add the entire bag of marshmallows. Stir over medium heat until the marshmallows have completely melted. Add Rice Krispies and mix together well. Pour mixture into a 9" x 13" pan that has been greased or sprayed with no-stick cooking spray. Use a baggie that has been sprayed with no-stick spray to spread and flatten mixture. Cut into squares when cool. Kids love making and eating these easy treats!

Ice Cream in a Bag

What you'll need:
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 cup milk or half & half
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
6 tablespoons rock salt
1 pint-size plastic food storage bag (e.g., Ziploc)
1 gallon-size plastic food storage bag
Ice cubes
How to make it:
Fill the large bag half full of ice, and add the rock salt. Seal the bag.
Put milk, vanilla, and sugar into the small bag, and seal it.
Place the small bag inside the large one, and seal it again carefully.
Shake until the mixture is ice cream, which takes about 5 minutes.
Wipe off the top of the small bag, then open it carefully. Enjoy!
Tips:
A 1/2 cup milk will make about 1 scoop of ice cream, so double the recipe if you want more. But don't increase the proportions more that that -- a large amount might be too big for kids to pick-up because the ice itself is heavy.

3. Invite a few friends over and have a slumber party. Watch movies, order pizza, and just have fun.
4. Make your own maze on the driveway with sidewalk chalk. Have people walk it in order to solve it.
5. Invite some friends over and have your mom or dad create a scavanger hunt. Split up into two teams and see who finishes it first.
