Then we'll let this go into voting to see who gets picked. Not just on the bike but what you have to say.

The picture is in my avatar.
The bike is an FXD35, and is #2347 of 3500.
What makes it special? A few things.
I liked the Superglide when it first came out ( I was a youngun then).
My children never knew this.
My son was in the US Army.
He told his mother that if he didn't come back from Iraq she was to "get Dad a Harley".
I had other plans, I was going to build a bike instead.
I had spent time going through different dealerships and shops looking for different ideas, and didn't find much. I like old stuff.
As I was leaving Heritage HD, I heard a voice in my head (Junior's): "Hey, you didn't look over there".
Over there was inside the showroom at the far end where the salesperson's desks were. Kinda tucked in a corner, there was this bike on a display stand. I went over to look, not very interested. The saleslady tried to tell me about it, but all I kept hearing was "new, new, new" (new, redesigned forks, new 6speed tranny, new style wheels, fuel injection...) and I like old. I said "Thank you " and went home. I still had a few hours before work.
Once home, I had a small emotional breakdown (don't care what people think, my kid went up in a greasy fireball. I was entitled).
When I was at work, I called the dealership and said "Don't let that bike go anywhere". Then I called his mother and told her what happened. Next thing I knew, it was a three way call with the dealership and she practically bought the bike over the phone.
This was a Friday evening, just before closing. Saturday, just after noon, I left the dealership with it. My first ever ride on an HD.
A few things that I found out later, when I was emotionally stable enough to go look for them:
This bike was on the assmbly line as he crossed the line into Iraq.
At the time he died, 3 men were killed. On the list of KIA, they were #2347, 2348 and 2349.
Aside from the teardop intake and exhaust I like, the decorations on the right side are a Gold Star flag that proudly displays his name and date of death. The factory timer cover was replaced with the US Army one in tribute. The white wrapped grips and the Navy derby cover are a nod to my time in uniform.
Since DMV limited the space on the Veteran's plate, I settled for my initials, as they were his as well.

Well, I was a kid in the 1960's. There were lots of kids in my neighborhood so we played in large groups quite a bit - you don't see that as much today. We had big games of hide and seek, tag and capture the flag. There was a big hill across the street that had the remnants of an old estate ( I lived in Germany). We called that area the "Alamo" and had lots of adventures there, including a rope tied to a tree so you could swing off a bluff about 15 feet high. In the winter we had a big area with 2 nice slopes of sledding and we stayed out until our mittens and socks were soaked and freezing - then we went home to warm up, dry out, and go again.
My best friend, Clifford, and I climbed trees a lot. We had our "airplane" tree with 2 cockpits - I always had to be the co-pilot of course. When the enemy shot at us we would bail out and land on a little hill that we could roll down. Being a girl, I was only allowed by my mother to climb up to the 3rd main branch.
In the attic of our apt. building, Clifford and I built a ship out of boxes and sailed to imaginary places. Again, I was never the captain and my bunk was in the small box.
Clifford lived on the 2nd floor so we played spy on his balcony which usually ended in him locking me outside on it.
We played marbles, rode bikes, played fuseball, and we like jumping out of the swings at the playground.
I loved being a kid. It was fun.
